You need to read your policy, or call your agent and find out. If it is not listed, then you need to let your agent know that you want it listed. This will probable cost more money.

Probably not. Homeowners Insurance is for damages caused to the home. It does not cover repair or replacement of components in the house. You would need a Home Warranty type insurance for this.

My homeowner's policy contains a "flood" insurance policy also. If the commode backs up and floods the house, my insurance will pay for the damages.

it should, my dad's policy covered stuff stolen out of my car when i wasn't even in town
