Why can't she just burn you a CD from itunes?
Just make a new playlist>burn playlist to CD. They sell CD's at the dollar store!

The first answer is wrong, you can use your ipod as a hard drive by enabling disc use and storing your media and files and transferring them. You can read about this on the ipod help portion of itunes.
The second answer is wrong, you CAN download songs from almost anywhere as long as they are not protected. I use limewire all the time. You can also use musicmatch and import your CD's.

Nope-you can't transfer anything from an Ipod to a computer. I know because I wiped my harddrive because I had a virus and so all my songs were gone, but I still had them on my Ipod, and I called Apple and they said that there's no way to put the songs on the computer from the Ipod...sucks, I know
