sometimes i feel that way at first, but then again i would rather know sooner than later because otherwise i get too attatched and it hurts more in the long run!

One has to learn to balance the good with the bad. I have had to deal with information which would hurt a person terribly.My knowing that information and being in a position to determine its impact on that person gave me the choice of saving someones life. I certainly was not better off not knowing. The trick is, you must be completely impartial and non judgmental in order to correctly process information.

Yeah, when I was watching a tv show and suddenly the show's gone! I said 2 myself, 'I was better off not watching the show from the very beginning!'

yes. ignorance really is bliss. the world is so small now due to the media, we know the tragedies happening all over the globe - it really is too much to handle at times...

Yes, all the time... sometimes I just get a mental picture of what someone's telling me, and it makes me shiver!
