Alex Faulkner of Bishop Falls
started his career with Toronto in 1961-62

Of note, Faulkner had an assist on Gordie Howe's 545th goal, the goal that passed Maurice Richard as the NHL's all-time goal-scoring leader.

Also of note: No Newfoundlander has ever won a Stanley Cup ring

I believe Keith Brown (Black Hawks defenceman) has played the most games of any Newfoundlander with 876.
