In my experience, this sort of thing indicates a hardware failure. Also in my experience, this has happened when I either tried to install the incorrect memory in my machine or I did not install it correctly.

It would help to know if you can get into your computer BIOS. How to do this varies from machine to machine. Pressing F2 often will do it. If you can get into BIOS it is less likely that you have a hardware problem.

Unless you are very skilled at fixing computers, you are likely going to have to get the laptop repaired. Hope it is still under warranty. Good luck.

See if when you turn it on you can get to Safe Mode.
When you turn the laptop on, quickly press and hold the F8 key. Let's hope you come to the DOS menu where you can press the appropriate number for Safe Mode.

Windows will not be loaded.
See if you can "repair" Windows. Here is some "required reading."

If you are unable to get to Safe Mode, I'm afraid you are going to have to see a tech. Look around. Here, in my area, we have a number of stores that do repairs. I had a tech make a house call to setup our three PCs - but with a laptop, I would try to take it in. Hopefully, that will save you something.

you never said if your getting any video on the screen, if not take it in to get it fixed. If your getting video but it just won't boot into windows maybe your hard drive went bad. When it comes to a laptop there is very little the average user can do to fix them unless it's bad memory, hard drive, cdrom, or battery. Good luck

Use this chart to determine what the Beeps mean. It could be as simple as a bad memory module, which you could change yourself.
