I know we cant yell "FIRE" in a movie theater, or "BOMB" on a plane, and I definately CANT say "Iwanna kill the next president" without consequences. So are we REALLY free?

That also could apply to abortion, Yes you are free to execute your baby, but THERE WILL BE CONSEQUENCES to your actions, maybe not religious ones, but DEFINATELY psychological ones. I PROMISE

Nothing is absolute. That's just the way it is. If you want total freedom, save up your nickels, buy a deserted island somewhere and become your own ruler. If you want to live in a civilized society, there are certain restrictions on everyone's freedoms that just have to be there. That's why it's called civilization (look up the roots of the word and you'll see why).

Freedom is not totally free. We do have the right to freedom of speech, but with limitations. As long as you do not threaten harm to someone or incite riotous behaviour, etc., your freedom is granted. The FL state kid was doing fine until he opened the very controversial and potentially rioutous question about the skull and bones association to brain dead Kerry. Same question would have been acceptable if it had been asked to a mature and mentally stable person.
