I've actually been working on my family tree. It's quite interesting. So far I haven't found anything too exciting other than a great uncle who was disowned by the family because he ran off with his wifes twin sister...
Still looking for the rich long lost cousin though!

A big problem with people is we spend to much time dwelling on the past looking to the future and shitting on the present.

the past does not repeat itself.
we repeat the past.
it's good to look into our past and figure out the reasons behind why we did things a certain way so we can figure out how to fix what's broken. sometimes you don't know it's broken 'til it's too late. prevention is key; the way to prevention is to know what to look for before anything goes wrong.

i'm no longer a Jehovah's Witness, whether that is actual that not one of the words that "hell" grow to be initially translated from suggested some fiery torture chamber. "sheol" and "hades" the two merely suggested the common grave of mankind. "Gehenna" suggested a burning trash unload the place lifeless bodies of sinful human beings have been incinerated and destroyed (no one grow to be ever put in there alive to be tortured!).

I sure do - been really wrestling with the past for the last couple days - moments frozen in time that can't be understood - can't be changed...
