First of all, the Wii shouldn't even be called a next-gen console, but the Wii's major downfall is that it doesn't get big games like Metal Gear Solid or Grand Theft Auto. I don't think that the Wii will win but it does have support from Japanese consumers though.

As for the Xbox 360, I think that it is too much of a faulty console for anyone to buy and also, the Xbox 360 has little support from Japanese gamers because the Xbox's exclusive games don't appeal to them.

But I do own a PS3, and I do think that the Playstation 3 will win the war. Most importantly, the PS3 has huge support from Japan because Sony's games appeal to them (Ico, Shadow of the Collosus, Final Fantasy, Metal Gear Solid and more)

I think that many people are just waiting for the price of the PS3 to drop another $100 before they buy it and I don't think that it will happen for at least another year or more. Once the price drops again for the PS3 in maybe a year or so I think that Sony will be selling PS3's like hotcakes.

Well the Wii is having problems making new consoles, it's not that they are selling out too much its that they aren't making enough. Nintendo didn't want to make the same mistake it made with its Gamecube console. They made too many and were overwhelmed with how little the console sold. Even though it was graphically BETTER than the ps2 it sold less because the american audience thought most of the games were meant for kids.

Sony has been too cocky with its PS3 and lost most of its games because of its sloppy online. It's free yes, but sony games have been notoriously known for not updating its games with patches for glitching online. Sony thought that since their console was better in the previous generation that would be a selling point. The PS3 is a POWERHOUSE, it can out run the 360 any day HARDWARE WISE, but the good games are far and few inbetween.

Microsoft LEARNED from their mistake, with the original xbox. They had good hardware and great graphical power but didn't have much to offer in the way of games and, even if they did the same games were available for the ps2. NOW the 360 is one of the front runners because of its all included and integrated online ( xbox live ). You get what you pay for with live, developers need money to patch online games and make new maps. Microsoft learned this from sony and are now making the leading console.

In my honest opinion, I think all these consoles win out in their own way. They all have great games for their systems they have their strengths and weaknesses but in the end they all win. I have all 3 consoles and I'm happy with what they all have to offer.

i think of ps3 because of the fact its commencing to launch alot extra video games with stable photographs and sound. yet what I say to human beings specially the 360 followers how on the subject of the ps4 and xbox400 as a results of come again out in 2010 or 2011. I have been given a ps3 and the photographs for GT5 is remarkable its such as you're making use of the motor vehicle in genuine existence.

Wii of course or the PS3. Most likely the wii. There is nothing innovative about the XBOX360, it was rushed out and is full of problems with hardware and software.

I think Wii might win if it keeps selling this well, but the real question is how long will wii's inovative experience be fun before you decide it's not all this great unlike the first time I played it.

The ps1 and ps2 both started out with people saying that they were too expensive and both had slow sales to start with. But both ended up as the most successful consoles of their era. I don't see any reason why it would be different this time around.
