"Not only is there almost no media coverage of the Black violent hate crimes against Whites, but in high profile cases when Blacks are prosecuted for heinous crimes against innocent Whites, the White victims are ignored and the Black criminals are turned into “real victims” by the media.

Nothing more clearly illustrates this point than what has occurred over the past year in Jena, Louisiana and the orgy of hatred that Jena has suffered. today, September 20, the town has been invaded by thousands of thugs like Al Sharpton who seek to make violent Black hate criminals such as Michael Bell and the rest of the so-called “Jena Six” into heroes. Even worse the entire White population of the town is facing a media lynching by being labeled racists who are unjustly persecuting Black young men.

Michael Bell, who has been convicted of four previous violent crimes, (a fact scarcely revealed by the media), led a group of six Black students to attack and unmercifully beat a White Student at Jena High School in what can only be described as a vicious hate crime. Motivated by racial hatred, the six Blacks attacked one lone White student, Justin Barker. They stomped and kicked him to unconsciousness and continued to kick him and stomp him as he lay helpless. The attack could have easily have taken his life if others had not intervened. Only by the grace of God did he survive.

To show the insane bias of this whole case, just imagine if the facts were reversed.

If a gang of six Whites motivated by racial hatred and led by a White with four previous violent-crime convictions had attacked a lone Black student, kicking and stomping him into unconsciousness, would there any concern that the leader and the other White gang members could be charged with aggravated assault? Would not there be national demands to charge the White attackers with the most serious of federal civil rights violations and hate crimes? White leaders from all over the country, even the leaders of the local town of Jena, would not be defending the White attackers, they would be condemning the attacks and calling for the harshest of punishments allowed by the law.

As far as the Media are concerned, oh yes the supposedly unbiased media, they would be interviewing the Black victim on every TV talk show across the land, discussing his fear, his pain, his suffering. They would be interviewing his crying relatives and friends. They would not be voicing any fear that the White attackers would be treated too harshly. No, they would be demanding the harshest of penalties.

Federal officials from the President on down would be calling for additional serious charges of federal civil rights violations. But you see, in the America of 2007 Whites are no longer deemed to have any “civil rights.”

When a lone White kid is beaten savagely by a gang of six hate criminals, the media is only concerned about how the Black attackers are being treated too harshly. And if you are waiting for civil rights charges to be filed against the Black attackers who violated the civil rights of the boy they almost beat to death, don’t hold your breath.

The entire Jena scenario and the coverage of it by the media show once again that it is not the people of Jena who are racists. By voting for me and by demanding justice in this case, they have shown rightly that they believe in fairness to all and that White people are now the real victims of racism in America. Once again it is shown that we must have advocates for our rights and heritage just as any other group is permitted to do so.

May the District Attorney and the people of Jena stay strong and never give in to those who seek take away their rights of life and liberty as guaranteed by the United States Constitution."

This is so sad. The black community loses all legitimacy when they are incapable of ever admitting that a member of their own race is EVER wrong. Let me get this straight... 6 guys beat the hell out of one guy and put him in the hospital (see picture: http://news.yahoo.com/photos/ss/events/us/091807jena6civilrts/im:/070919/480/7b4a6f668d1d457bb9a96cc57fc23abd;_ylt=AmkvmEG9Z_Wvr0BlZxEOG4dsaMYA ) and we have thousands of people marching in their support? Is this for real? Are whole communities actually condoning gang beatings? How pitiful. The responsible position for the black community to hold here would be that the Jena 6 were wrong and they should have to pay for their hate crime (which is exactly what it was). Now if the black community thinks there were crimes that were committed by whites that weren't prosecuted, they could legitimately gripe about that and direct their protests in that direction. However, the answer here isn't to make martyrs out of 6 thugs who gang beat the crap out of one young man.

What hatred? I can only speak for myself here as I have zero Hatred for anyone much as the media would like to highlight the opposite. The crimes talked about are very separate but polarizing. Ignorance and stupidity hung the nooses and I think it is a hate crime. And when a group beats up a single person, That is also a crime of hate...If a pack of pitbulls mauled a person would we spare punishment to the dogs because of their color? And how many of us really cheer either side of this stupid violent tale. The fact it is titled the jena 6 means it is legitimate in the eyes of the news at least and I don't buy it. And when was the last time you got beat up by a large group of men and didn't think you might be killed?

Im simply appalled at the lack of facts people responding to this question have. Jena 6 is is about WAY more than a white kid rightfully getting his butt kicked. It was a year of hate incidents against blacks, with no punishment to the white offenders. Three black teens were held at gunpoint. Black teens were threatened to be punished by "having their lives ended" if they protested the segregation that existed at the school. Their rights were violated. When they retailiated, with a mere fight between kids, they got 22 years in jail. The punishment is excessive and unfair and remininscent of Jim Crow laws. And STILL no punishment to the hate crimes that whites in that town are commiting. There is no justice

Sharpton runs to the aid of six blacks accused of crimes against a white boy. But did he bother to run to the aid of six whites in West Virginia accused of crimes against a black girl? Both were racist in nature.
Yet Sharpton's big 'beef' with the Louisiana crime seems to be that some white kids hung some nooses on the school grounds!! Forget the fact that a white kid was almost killed; that's immaterial!
It's people like Sharpton and Jesse Jackson that stir the fires of racism for their own hypocritical benefit. -RKO- 09/20/07

There is a double standard in justice....but it doesn't work the way you might think.
When I was a child, I was beat up and had my clothing taken off by black boys just because I was white. I never did anything to them, I was just a little five year old girl. My mom had called the police, but they told her to stop letting me play at the local park because there wasn't anything they were going to do about black on white crime.
Anybody recall the Duke lacrosse players...guilty before proven innocent?
How about OJ...he was innocent after proven guilty.
People like Al Sharpton are causing more hatred. Last time I heard, free speech is not a "crime" even if it is hateful or cruel speech. (The people who hung the nooses were not in violation of any law except the law of civil decency) However, I think assault to the point of leaving your victim unconscious is still illegal. Why would we say these 6 boys that beat the crap out of the white kid because he was white are "victims"????????????????????

I think that anyone who can't look at this situation and see how unfair it is already is racist (and/or dumb) and I don't care about them either way. That is if they are armed with all of the facts of the case and not just listening to mainstream media.

Elvis, I have heard about that case and it was horrible and maddening and the guys who committed that crime will hopefully spend their lives being raped in prison.

Silk, if white people were the ones getting stiffer penalties for committing the same crime, I promise you you would hear them speaking out/protesting it. Fortunately for white people, you don't have to worry about that EVER happening.

And no one is rioting. Get it right.

Tom, you know it's the media's fault for your ignorance on the subject, so I will take it easier on you. The comparison is not hanging nooses and assault (it wasn't attempted murder) the comparison is a group of white kids beating up a black kid and getting suspensions that were overturned by the school board.

Get it? Let me break it down in simple speak for you.

Group of White Kids vs Black Kid = Overturned suspensions from school.

Group of black kids vs White kid = 15 years to Life in prison.

Understand it now? Good.

If the rift between the races are becoming wider, it's because people are too scared to talk about the issues and people are still too ignorant to realize that the color of ones skin doesn't matter. Unfortunately, there is still way too much instutionalize racism in this country for things to change.

Kimberly, a voice of reason. It's not really their fault (the people responding) that they are ignorant on the topic. The media isn't giving the whole story. They don't understand how the media works in this country. They can't see the light.

I believe you are very right and it's sad. I can't understand why every time there is an incident that involves black and white the black feel the need to demonstrate or riot.

You are correct elvisdan77, that was a horrible crime against those two white kids but there was no riot or demonstration against blacks for it.

Yeah...its more reversed now....try looking up the murder of 2 whites in Knoxville,TN by 5 blacks..they car jacked them(1 man, his fiance), kidnapped and tortured them, they raped BOTH of them, then they shot them and left them on the side of the road.....it was a race crime!! But guess what I bet you have NEVER heard about this....why because it was Black on White crime!!

i know some blacks will thumb me down, but folks stop whining and drop all dogs on white man, take DAMBN RESPONISIBILITY for you own action.
