Have you had good or bad experiences working as a nanny? Any horror stories??

i had both. i was taken advantage of several times by the mother. she and her husband were pigs. i was also a housekeeper and cook. plus cared for a 3 year old boy and 1 year old girl. the mother had a habit of coming home showering and leaving as did the husband with no explanation as to when they would be back. and the pay was terrible i got 100 bucks a week for 10-12 hours a day child care laundry cooking cleaning the whole nine yards i often put the kids to bed and was the first face they saw in the morning. i was let go when the little girl called me mommy instead of her own mother

Boy I could tell you a few! Mainly stories about issues with the parents and/or grandparents. In a nutshell....nothing I did was ever good enough. period. nothing! do you know how frustrating that is?
anyway...I am currently in school to become a teacher, you can only do this line of work for so long.

a little bit of both but it comes with the territory in most cases
