You're f*ckin right they will!!! They're 2-0 right now with a new head coach. They beat the Browns which the Bungals couldn't do!
STEELER NATION!!!
EDIT: Hey Jeremy... The Steelers have 5 rings, too... They're about to get 6.

Okay..a Steelers question huh....I'll bite. I don't think this years team has any resemblance to the 2005 squad that won the SB. Of course we've got much of the same team in tact, but that doesn't mean anything. Just like this years team doesn't have anything to do with how poorly we played last year.
Before the season I picked the Steelers to win 8-10 games. As of right now, they look like they can do better than that. But we'll see what happens when we play Baltimore, Cincy, NE and a couple of other tough AFC teams. I like our chances to win the division..but winning the AFC Championship will be an awefully tall order this year. The competition is tough, to say the least.

I'm a packer fan first but also a football fan. What I liked most about the Steelers that year was the way they got to the Super Bowl. MY favorite game in years was the playoff game against the Colts.

So far the Steelers have looked good, but admittedly they have not played any tough teams. Their defense has only allowed 1 TD this season and it is stuffing the running game of their opponents.
Their rushing game has been solid and their yards passing has been average. Ben needs to be able to air it out more. We need to see some 300 yard games from him, against a good defense, but they are in the hunt for the division.
This week they are home against the 49ers and I look for the Steelers to exploit a weak SF secondary. If they can then it will be a long afternoon for San Francisco.

And your point is? That was 2 years ago. Win it this year & then you can talk all you want. Stop living in the past. Steelers will not win Super Bowl this year because they won't be playing in it. I think it will be the Patriots whether you like them or you hate them or the Chargers who make it there. Whoever represents the AFC, should win.

They look good this year but you can't live in the past.Every team has changed over the last 2 years.Steelers will make the playoffs but don't exspect to see them playing in the Superbowl in Feb.After all last year you could have wrote that they won the Superbowl just 1 year ago and they where gonna win agian but they never even made the playoffs and play really bad last year.

I predict the Steelers win the AFC North and the Brownies win the Wildcard. Repeat of a few years back when they played each other in the playoffs. Although this year, the Browns won't blow their seventeen point lead at halftime and will go on to win the Superbowl. Call me crazy, but I got to have faith.

Different coaches.
Different schemes.
Scrambled QB brain.
It wouldn't be a guarentee even if those things weren't true.
The Patriots, Colts, and Chargers all in the same conference also don't make this an easy row to hoe.
We will see in January if you are right. I expect PIT to win its division, but I'm not sure they will go deep in the playoffs.

Steelers fans are kings of jumping the gun though.
I think they are poised for a good year, but its too early to tell yet. I can still see them being somewhat average also.
