On Yahoo Answers? A very small %. On the Senior Citizen forum there are 3 main groups. There are a group of people over 50 ... the group you ask about.

There is also a younger "group" asking about what they percieve as the problems of the elderly. What are our interests and hobbies? How will we keep Aunt Edna occupied etc. These are often people working on degrees in Sociology.

Then there is also the family member groups. Who have questions about nursing homes and dementia etc.

It might be nice to have some sub categories or some other indicators for "mature audience". On the up side this forum was not take over by the kids home from school this summer.

I am over 60 and have no idea about the % . All I know is it is not advertised as a "seniors only " forum.

I'm 100 percent older than 50. Have been for 17 years, now. (We'll be attending my husband's 50th high school reunion in a couple of weeks.)

Please don't make the kids go away. Although some are snots, most are a breath of fresh air.

Edit -- eek, I thought age was not an option but that maturity was. If you seek mature participation, I'm outta here.

If we are taking count I will be 54 in December. I was married many years to someone 15 years older so am interested in music and know about some things that were actually before I was old enough to participate in life as an adult. \Maybe as each person answers the survey we can get a tally.
Quite a few youngsters visit us here. I for one enjoy their input and the questions they ask regarding their parents and grandparents. As long as anything is ask in respect I enjoy reading.

I'm 70 and the happiest I've ever been. I live in a beautiful home in the tropics and have the very best that life has to offer. I don't know what % ages use this forum, but it's nice to participate. I get a little upset when nostalgia questions remind me that I go back farther then the questions! (HINT: If you don't want to have a bad day, never go to the "Religion" forum. Too much looney tunes!)
