70's definately had some great music and songs. Definately had better musicians that what is out today. I don't see any Zeppelin's, Rolling Stones, etc comeing out of todays crap. Sure concerts were cheaper, but also have to look at economic situation back then, people were making less money than today. I'm sure just as people complain about 50-100 dollar concert tickets today I'm sure people were complaining about 10-15 dollar concerts back then.

I think the reason the music from the 70's was great for many reasons
1. The drugs
2. The fact the music was original, not like todays music which is sampled from earlier stuff
3. We all had more hair back then :)

i think the 60's 70's and 80's had some great music, but as in every era there was song's that were just plain bad,

Late 60's-70's, absolutely!!!!!! Those were the days. The music was great and concert tickets were about 10 bucks!!!!!
