After years of black eyes the government has taken for being caught doing dirt, they finally had sense enough to contract out the dirt they need done without being implicated themselves. That is what Blackwater is,essentially. People of all races need to wake up to what you see with your own eyes and stop letting the government tell you what you saw. We have one of,if not the best, militaries in the world. Why do we need Blackwater? What can they do that our military can't? They can kill and not have to answer to anyone. The government hands them their "assignments", they fulfill them and they don't answer to anyone. And most importantly, the image of our "pristine" government remains unblemished largely because they simply hired someone else to throw the rock.

Blackwater was hired by the Iraqi Government as a private security firm. They also have patrolled the streets of New Orleans under contract by the State of Louisiana. To say they have a "license to kill" is just left-wing propoganda. Comparing President Bush to Hitler is intellicually dishonest. A dangerous threat to our stability are people like Speaker Pelosi (and her kind) going to Syria have talks with countries who sponsor international terrorism. President Bush is not the enemy. Roosevelt (Democrat) took away more civil liberties than President Bush. In fact I dare anyone to name one civil liberty that President Bush has taken away from any American Citizen.

Blackwater are nothing more than paid mercenaries. Founded by an ex Navy Seal who had his pockets padded from an inheritance. Blackwater was brought on by the State Department on a no-bid contract years ago. They provide private security for diplomats and other political yahoos. They of course fall under that lovely title of "independent contractors" which basically makes them exempt from facing the wrath of the Iraqi law. They have been involved in some questionable firefights, and if I recall correctly some scrutiny for not cooperating with our troops. Mr. Prince, the founder of Blackwater has donated substantial amounts of money to Dubya's interests, as well as other radical right wing causes.

Bush would not take over the company. I don't see a connection to Hitler, but I do think that Blackwater is a rogue operation that conducts "missions" of their own design.

It would be nice to have a discussion about this without conspiratorial undertones.

Blackwater USA is a private military company and security firm founded in 1997 by Erik Prince and Al Clark. It is based in the U.S. state of North Carolina where it operates a tactical training facility which it claims is the world's largest. The company trains more than 40,000 people a year, from all the military services and a variety of other agencies. The company markets itself as being "The most comprehensive professional military, law enforcement, security, peacekeeping, and stability operations company in the world". At least 90% of its revenue comes from government contracts, two-thirds of which are no-bid contracts.
Prince and Jackson are also major contributors to the Republican party. What else would one call it when the chimp requires such intervention because some feel his is out of his bounds for order? The chimp and his thugs make me sick!

You have no concept of the history of Germany from 1918 to 1933.

You have no concept of the Gestapo.

If you really want to stretch things past the breaking point you might try comparing Blackwater to the SA.

You have no concept of the law in America.

Blackwater is not licensed to kill. They may, just like you, use deadly force to protect themselves, others and some property.

They do not have executive authority, may not make arrests, are subject both to the law and arrest. If they did not answer to anyone why did they have to be licensed by the Iraq government? Why is it incorporated IAW the laws of the several states and federal government?

Why would GWB want to take over a firm like this? It is small potatoes.

You can make an argument that GWB is dangerous for various reasons but with Blackwater? If he can't take the country as the President he certainly can't do it as an ex-president running Blackwater, or Haliburton or......

The US is in no way like Weimar Germany. GWB is not a little Hitler/Stalin/Mao/Satan. The only way this is a repeat of history is if you rewrite history to match your favorite conspiracy theory.

It is funny to see how people ignore the fact about how the Bush family (Georgie grandfather, Prescott Bush), DIRECTLY helped Hitler when he desesperatly needed the money to achieve its fascist plans. Well, maybe not funny, but it hurt less when you don´t live in USA ! History is just like fashion, it makes its come backs !

Of course not. We don't have a Gestapo. We have Homeland Security, the FBI, the CIA, the NICI (National Interagency Counterdrug Institute), the NSA, the Secret Service, and lower-level police forces all over the place.

Not to mention the world's largest government-sponsored terror organization: the IRS.

Gestapo? No, that's the NSA. Blackwater and their ilk are merely bloodthirsty and demented mercenaries prostituting themselves out to the highest bidders.

Yes, you hit the nail on the head, but you sure won't ever find a republican admitting to the truth, not ever!

If you read the comments left above by republicans you can see what idiots they really are.

As one of them said, if they don't bother me, then why should I worry?

Sister, if you let that cancer grow, it will fester until it does effect you, and then it will be far too late, because you did nothing but vote for the nazi-infiltrated republican party.
