Should I be concerned? I've only had two shots.

The entire time I had the Depo, I bled every single day. I received it two times, the doc said it was normal to bleed while you are on it. I couldn't stand it, so I stop getting it. Soon after, I didn't not bleed for about 4 months...go figure.

Don't be to worried, when I had the shot, I bled for the first 3 months straight, non-stop...only after the second shot did I regulate. I ask the doctor about it and yes, 1 out of every 15 women go through this. Good luck!!!

I had 2 shots and got off it. Right before I switched, I had "nuisance bleeding" for nearly 3 weeks. It wasn't a normal period, but I still had to wear something. I hated it. The thing that sucks is they can't do anything about it because of the hormone being in your system. I'd switch ASAP!
(Of course, now I'm concerned about being pregnant since I'm on my nonactive pills and don't have it yet. I hope it's just my cycle still being screwy...)

I hated that stuff. It REALLY messes up your body. I was on it 9 months and it took me almost a year to get a regular cycle again. But to answer your question, I believe that what you are experiencing is actually a common side effect. If the bleeding is very heavy, I would call your doctor. You may be at rick for anemia. It's normal to have light spotting, but nothing really heavy for that long. You may want to call your doc anyway, just to set yourself at ease.

Its typical on depo provera.

I would call the doctor, and make sure you never get another shot of depo again.

TOO many women have very serious side affects and health issues because of this shot.

Google "depo provera lawsuit" and check out its reviews at http://www.rateitall.com/t-330-birth-control-methods.aspx

Did you just start? I think I bled for like the first three months real light, kinda on and off. Once I got the 2nd shot thats when my periods stopped completely.

I've read articles about it saying that it can cause stuff like that.. I also have a friend that had it and said that it made her bleed for months at a time...

You should definately go see a doctor... Maybe they can do something to stop the bleeding..

i replaced into on the dep. shot for 2 years and as quickly as I have been given off of it my classes have been way off. i might spot for some hours and then each each now and then i might decide for 3 weeks. i might advise to by no skill take the dep. shot becasue it rather messes issues up.
