hi, I need to know about the trends in monitor sizes, feautres, and prices. I tried searching it from yahoo and google already but I did'nt really get the information.

I would not see any change in the current trends.
Size will increase and prices will drop. Widescreen will continue to be dominant.
There might be a trend to increase resolution, but probably not. That had a major set back a few years ago when Microsoft pulled vector fonts from what is now Vista. That would have solved all these text/icons too big/too small problems. (But i guess being able to have transparent windows was more important)
LED backlights are starting to come in at a price premium, this may reduce power and improve colour a little.
I would like to see an effort in improving the colour range, but we will have to see if the panel manufacturers will rise to the challenge.
Other technologies such as OLED are still in the This-will-take-over-the-world- -as-soon-as-we-solve-a-couple- -of-minor-issues.

LCD widescreens are a big trend right now. The most popular sizes seem to be the 19 to 21 inch range. Prices have really come down for the LCD screens so they are comparable with the larger CRTs but take up much less desk space.
