I've used it before and it was fine. I tried it again a couple years later and it keeps slipping down over and over. I finally got mad and took it out early. Now I am bleeding heavily for a week or more now. I have a dr. appt. Monday cause I'm worried. Anyone else like it or hate it?

Iam a pharmacist. What I know about it is that it doesn't come in different sizes. Try to visit a doc. and let him fix it well inside your vagina..

That answer about it coming in different sizes is completely false. I've been on it for years without any problems. If you can actually feel it and/or if it's falling out you don't have it up far enough. It's supposed to slip into place right behind your pubic bone and stay there. I'm considering switching to the pill but only because the ring is really expensive for me.

I don't even know what it is but I was reading a question earlier in which the lady fell pregnant using nuvaring and she didnt want a baby at all.

Oh, I hated it. mine was slipping out all the time, even in my sleep I'd wake up and it'd be half way out. And on top of that it push up against my bladder making it feel like I had to pee all the time.

I personally haven't used it. But my friend did and she had the same problem. It kept coming down and it even came off during sex one time. Come to find out they come in different sizes or something and she had the wrong size.. Its weird. I prefer the shot though Im not liking the weight gain part.. o well
