The 'spotting' looks like pink discharge that I get at the beginning of my period. I also had light bleeding at 9 weeks and was told that I was having a 'threatened miscarriage'. My doctor's office doesn't open for a few hours and I plan on calling them as soon as they do, so please just don't answer 'Go see your doctor'. I just want to know if any other women out there experienced this. Thanks.

I have not had sex within the last three days so I doubt it's related to that. I forgot to mention that earlier.

Ok, seriously, I didn't come here for medical advice and I clearly said that I'm going to my doctor as soon as they open. I just want to hear from some other people who have been there. I find that calming. I don't really feel like being berated for asking a question here.

well this could be a number of things
its probably the same reason you bleed last time maybe the placenta is low lying when its lying low it can sometimes happen if you have sex in the last 24 hours etc
alot of women spot it turns out to be nothing
so i would try and stay calm until you get to see your doctor

I experienced the same and the only thing they told me was to rest..(to be honest I didn't) but everything went fine and I'm 19 weeks now.
Oh, and my doctor prescribed magnesium capsules(for weak muscles)

call your doctor. this is the only person you should be going to for this kind of thing not a bunch of untrained yahoo on yahoo answers and i am including myself. i was told and i am sure you were too any bleeding you need to be seen asap. cramping is normal since everything is shifting and moving for the growing uterus bleeding of any kind is a sign of a problem

i've had five children and had spotting with two of them.my first one they told me was to do with hormones the second i didn't even know i was eleven weeks pregnant because i still had my monthlies.they did stop. just don't stress!!!!!
