I believe Ron Dennis has supplied both drivers with equal machines.
Ron is quoted as saying that Alonso is "a remarkably recluse for a driver".
This would imply to me that Alonso does not spend any more time than necessary with the team. Hamilton on the other hand seems to be more involved with his team.
M. Schumacher has proven that one of the reasons for his success was because he got involved with the team, became interested, "more than necessary" with his mechanics. This relationship boosted the efforts of the team to support their driver.
As far as Ron is concerned I'm suprised he has not chosen a driver to win the championchip at this late a point in the season. All credit to Mclaren for this gutsy move. If I was Ron now, after the scandal, I know who I would support.

Only two people have come out of this clean so far and those are Ron Dennis and Lewis Hamilton. Ron was not aware that Alonso was receiving technical data from Ferrari and through no fault of his the team has to stump up close to £50 million. On top of that, McLaren will suffer through a lack of sponsorship over the next year or two. Apart from the blocking incident, which cost McLaren points, Alonso not only attempted to hold Ron Dennis to ransom, over what he had been doing and the information that he had, Alonso also attempted to run Lewis Hamilton off the track at the beginning of the last race. Alonso then had the cheek to announce that he will be honouring his three year contract to Ron but failed to mention that he and Ron were not even communicating. I hope Ron does the right thing and fires Alonso. Even better, he should replace Alonso with another driver so Alonso cannot compete for the World Championship, which he deserves considering it is all down to Alonso that McLaren have lost the Constructors Championship and nearly £50 million. F1 has never, in it's history, seen such behaviour from a driver nor seen such controversy. I feel sorry for Ron Dennis as he was probably the most respected team director in F1 and now that respect is seriously damaged. In my opinion, Ron should get rid of Alonso and pass some of the fine over to him thus making sure Alonso does not get away with the harm that he has caused Ron, the McLaren team and F1 as a sport.

The McLaren team usually dont have clear no1 & no2 drivers, the only way one may get 'preferred' status is towards the end of the season when one driver is leading the championship, like Lewis is now.
For anyone (like me) who is old enough to remember, what's happening now is small potatoes compared to the rivalry of the Prost / Senna era in 89 /90, when Ayrton Senna not only drove Prost straight off the track not once, but twice, he told people he was going to do it!
Personally, I think Alonso will be doing well to stay in his seat tillthe end of the year, and I wouldn't be surprised if his mechanics manage to 'lose' a wheel during a pit stop if he's in a winning position.

actual Ron Dennis is going on approximately integrity yet is not extra perfect than stephney or coughlan in that he cheated and have been given caught. Hamilton used Alonso information for a on a similar time as and this information grow to be won from Ferrari ,so Hamilton is a sufferer of all this mess. Alonso and co could have been excluded yet then that could have proficient Hamilton the victory because of the fact the Ferrari boys won't capture him up now. money is the significant in this interest.

ron has treated lewis more because ron has invested money on him since the age of 12.
alonso is new to mclaren and since he has been ''black mailing'' ron i think ron will treat lewis more better.
rockford Hamilton was paid 250, 000 pounds.
because he is a rookie thats why.

I am sure it was Alonso who demanded preferential treatment as the senior driver in a team where drivers have always been treated equally.
He used the knowledge of the Ferrari information to try to blackmail Ron Dennis, instead Ron Dennis broke the bombshell anyway then Alonso spilled his guts to try to drop his team as deep as he could in the smelly stuff.
I hope some plays with Alonso's brakes....

Lewis have the best material they made Alonso feel uncomfortable from the very start, how can you just copying the set-up be as fast or faster then the guy you're stealing the information?
And the proof came up now Ron it's not speaking to Alonso and is getting really close to crybaby Lewis and his daddy!

From the start of the season it seemed pretty clear that there would be no preferential treatment for either driver.
The only problem, is that one of the drivers (Alonso) didn't like the idea that an upstart rookie was given an equal chance, and an equal car.
It is clear to see that Alonso's ego has been badly bruised, and his image badly tarnished with recent events, all of which are his fault, and his alone.

Ron Dennis and McLaren claim they treat both drivers equally, but let's look at the facts:
Alonso was paid 10 million pounds this year while Hamilton was paid 250, 000 pounds.
That's not equal. A driver who is paid more, more is expected despite what McLaren says.
