I already reported this scam job that I got to the Internet Crime complaint Center. But now I do not know what to do with all the personal information I sent them!!!

These are the following information
I gave them:

-MY HOME ADDRESS
-MY HOME PHONE NUMBER
-MY SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER
-MY BANK ACCOUNT NUMBER/ROUTING NUMBER (I know beyond stupid of me but thankfully I put no money in there)
-A COPY OF MY DRIVER'S LICENSE.

AND ALL THIS INFORMATION IS IN MY ONLINE ACCOUNT FOR THIS JOB, IN WHICH THERE IS NO WAY TO DELETE! I am afraid they will always have my information!!

What should I do? should I change everyhting? including my social security number, home phone number, online account passwords, bank accout number, and new driver's license id number? but what about my home address!!! I am the most afraid about that!

SHOULD I REPORT IT TO MY LOCAL POLICE? OR DO THEY NOT HANDLE SUCH MATTERS?

Change everything that you can -- beginning with your financial information. Alert your bank quickly that you're the victim of an Internet scam. Go to your bank's website and search for "fraud" or identity theft links. Follow up with a telephone call and provide any information that you can.

If you have the original correspondence -- including header information in emails -- save it and be prepared to provide it to the F.B.I.

Change your SS#, your driver's license, you phone number quickly.

Good luck.

Beware of Rahul Nimawat! Within the last hour he has said he was (1) Freelancer working in the IT field (2) A freelancer (3) Claims he can get software at a discount (4) Two claims of being a "security specialist" (5) Claims to be a computer engineer. (6) and here he claims to be a security expert. DO NOT CONTACT THIS PERSON!

Why on earth would a sane person give such vital information to someone you don't know and have no prior knowledge of their company (?). With all the information about IDENTITY THEFT constantly being reported in the news media, I just don't understand why you did it. Go TODAY and change your Social Security Number and close your bank account and tell the bank why you're closing it. They can flag that account and watch for criminal activity. You can always set up a different bank account. Change your phone number and have it unlisted. Call the Drivers License Department and ask what to do about changing your d/l number. They're usually very helpful.

I'm curious if you applied for overseas work with a bogus oil company. I've actually heard of some people who got caught up in those scams. When they told me the salaries that were offered, they were about 1/3 to 1/2 the actual salaries for that type of work with legitimate companies.

I wish you success.

Call your local police immediately. I never heard of the Internet Crime Complaint Center. Did you get an E-mail from them?
After you talk to the police, talk to your bank. They can take out money you don't have, and the bank will bill you.

of course they will always have your info, and i definetly advise changing all, if u're sure it's a scam. i'd certainly go to the police as well, but i don't think they can do much for you.

what posessed you to give SSN, bank account info and a copy of ur driving license is beyond me - they can now use ur identity for credit card fraud or whatever they like . changing adress is advisable too.

I somewhat have had sources stolen. yet no longer my identification. My spouse is a college instructor. in basic terms immediately whilst she left for lunch she forgot to fasten her door. whilst she got here lower back she observed her wallet improve into lacking. She lost some funds, financial employer ATM and mastercard. thankfully she observed as quickly as she got here lower back and talked approximately as the financial employer to cancel the ATM and mastercard. What a gorgeous worldwide we are residing in once you won't be in a position to even go away something in an common college lecture room.
