I would define a good friendship on the following criteria :Loyalty ---Dependable ----Kind ---Understanding ----a good listener ---trustworthy----person who keeps my secrets safe -----helpful in hour of need ---does not expect any reward for the relationship ---and a person who has these qualities of respecting and accepting my true nature and allows me the space to be myself will make a good friend as i think i have these qualities so if you want to make me your friend --I am Your Man -- A good friend

I was tempted to say me of course. Some one who is happy with who they are and accepts me for who I am. Someone who doesn`t feel awkward in telling the truth. Some one who listens with out judging or taking sides and likes a laugh.... Some one who allows me to make kistakes and is there when things are tough.

Dependability, trustworthiness, supportiveness, shared interests and compatibility are, in my opinion, the qualities that one would need to possess to be a "good" friend in my book -- especially the first three.
