The shaded region is the 8-figured star. What is the area of the shaded region?
The star's sides are not straight lines. The sides have a bit curve.
The sides measure 8 CM.
Hope you get what I mean! Thanks!

You've got no chance of an answer as you haven't provided enough information. Do the tips of the star touch the edges of the cube? at what degrees are the curves? and which area is shaded, is it the star or the cube? With that info you may just have a chance of somebody doing your calculation for you. I'd suggest that you work it out yourself as you will have to do some calculation to give the extra info and you may as well finish it rather than wait for the answer.

So, it's an 8-pointed star with all lengths equal to 8cms?
I don't see the need for the cube, sorry!

are you sure that the star's sides are not straight lines? its a little bit harder. provide some illustrations that will represent your question. and please provide more values, like the dimensions of the cube, or the angle of that "little bit curve".

that question lacks informatin, in short.
