My heart would sink and I'd sometimes even cry if my mum said we were having baked potatoes, beans on toast or stirfry for dinner. I love them all now and cook them for myself. The worst thing was nettle soup. Once a year my mum would go out and pick nettles and make us eat this soup. Whoever ate a bowl of soup got pancakes afterwards. It was always the worst day of the year but now I love nettle soup.
Other things include olives, onions, mushrooms, courgette and jaffa cakes, which I forced myself to eat because I thought they were cool. Now I wish I hadn't because it's hard to stop.

Asparagus ! As a child, I was not allowed to leave the dinner table until I ate all of my food. My step Dad was cruel. He, basically, made me eat burnt asparagus . At least, that was what it tasted like.
