While you're at it, ask her what she thinks about lingerie and whether or not it is a way of compensating for something she missed during her childhood. Perhaps it is a way of establishing her own femininity and establishing her identity against the backdrop of a domineering mother and a passive/aggressive father. How long is your couch?
