Me - six weeks now - still a bit edgy!!!

Not newly.... 1 1/2 years now. Still get anxious and still would love to have one. Not like it was in the beginning at all, though. And sometimes, I smoke in my dreams. It's great, because it's a dream, its the best cigarette you could ever want to smoke, so you get to enjoy it psychologically, without ever really having one. I wake up and think, 'wow! that was awesome! I feel great! I want to go back to sleep!' But really, it's more satisfying when you dream it, because I'm not craving more when I wake up, I feel like I had enough. When I was actually smoking, it was like I never felt like I smoked enough to be satisfied.

Congratulations to you!! you can be very proud of yourself.
just keep telling yourself you dont smoke anymore when you get the urge to smoke & the feeling will pass real quick,you know self talk to yourself!
thats what i do & it works every time. I feel great but make sure you still get xrays to be safe now & then over the years.
its been 14 months for me now & i feel rich!
the money just keeps building up lol & i can treat myself to a bit of shopping & movies etc you have no idea how $60 builds up real quick $240 a month is a lot

I've done that heaps of times. I'm going to do it again after my exams. You're doing great but you've got a long way to go yet so hang in there - 6 weeks is like the 7 year itch - once you're past that you're really committed. Well done!

Gratz! I have never smoked, but I know it's an oral fixation. Get some toothpicks to keep in your mouth and manipulate.
(psst...looks cool in the boardroom too.)
