The heavy dose of hormone in the emergency pill can make you blled in between your periods. Nothing to worry about!! If you are still concerned after a few days speak to your doctor in confirdence!!

Well done to you for taking it when you knew you may have become pregnant. We all do silly things sometimes and it is good that you took the morning after pill.

As long as you took it within the time frame recommended you should be fine. As it is a fairly high level of hormones in this it does mess with your own hormones and may have brought on a period early. The best things is that if you are bleeding then you are very unlikely to be pregnant.

I would not be concerned if I was you. Treat this as a normal period and probably expect your one after to come in 28 or so days.

It would be highly unlikely you would be pregnant. Even the timing of when you had sex would most likely not let you get pregnant (ie. day 7 of your cycle) at that time without the morning after pill.

Might be time to go to a Womens Health Clinic anyhow and get some ideas about contraception so you dont get into this tricky situation again and give yourself so much stress.

And dont listen to people who write nasty posts - I am sure they have had time where they have not acted in the most sensible manner. People who are highly judgemental of others often have very poor self esteem themselves under the facade!!!

The morning after pill messes with your cycle - you may not settle down to normal periods for some 6 months now. This is why its not recommended as a method of birth control.

Emergency contraception aka 'the morning after pill' causes quick irritation of the uterine lining and this will result in sloughing of the endometrium and result in bleeding such as you describe. The advent and timeframe of your normal cycle are irrelevant to this process and you will most likely avoid pregnancy after taking this contraceptive.

You might either have a urinary tract infection (rare) or your period just came early. A lot of girls have their periods come early sometimes. You just have to calm down. If you are so nervous that will affect your bleeding. If this bleeding keeps up, consult your doctor.

That's a side effect from the pill. They should have told you that when it was given to you.
