I took my truck to the shop because of an oil leak. They had to drop the transmission and fix the oil pan, gasket, pump, and anything having to do with oil. I brought it home and it was ok. This morning it is shifting really hard, the abs light is on, and it doesnt read the speed on the dash.Any thoughts on why its doing this....

They didn't hook the speed sensor back up. That makes the transmission shift later than normal because the computer can't tell how fast the vehicle is going.

Could be as simple as a spedometer sensor plug at the transmission has become disconnected. That will not send the speed signal the trans and antilock brakes need so both turn on fail safe operation. The truck might even start out in second gear and shift hard until you take it back to the shop. hopefully they can reset a ABS light most time that is a dealership thing because of the special tool.

Take it back to the shop and have them fix it right this time. Apparently, they did not reinstall it right and could be due to insufficient transmission fluid, which they may have neglected to top off when they reinstalled the transmission. That would set off the ABS light. What you can do is check that fluid level under your hood to confirm my theory- then its a simple fix.

step 1- turn brain on
step 2 - take receipt and misbehaving vehicle back to mechanic
step 3 - be patient and explain issue and let mechanic fix
step 4 - learn to spell, grammar and how to construct sentances when asking a question.

If the vehicle is not fixed to your satisfaction then seek legal advice
