i want a good book to read... something like the alex jackson series books... (grommet, wma, closing out are all part of the alex jackson series). I relly really liked those books, but i HATE all other genre of books... I like books about real teenage life, especially involving high school and real life teenage matters (sex, drugs, friends, etc.) any suggestions?

Hmmm...you might like "Running With Scissors" by Augusten Burroughs and "Me Talk Pretty One Day" by David Sedaris. However, be warned that these include some graphic descriptions of gay sex. If that sort of thing bothers you then you may want to steer clear of these books. These are supposedly true and do line up with your description above. Maybe "Scissors" is a better match because it deals with the teenage years more than the other.

There's a new book (free read) on a young teen taking on the "Great Theologians," called "Gospel Enigma." But that is more of a "kid nation" kind of thing.

There are a number of "in copyright" books at New Free Books. Perhaps you can find something there.

To find good recommendations for books go to the social networking site for readers at http://www.booktribes.com. Just put in your favourites and a list of related books will come up for you - the ones that others who like your favourites also like. It works really well!
