even he said people were entitled to their opinions so how about we let people say their piece without slagging each other off?

What I mean.. (to those who fail to understand) is that we all have our comments but hold back on what you think of other peoples.

I agree, everyone is entitled to believe what they choose. I have always said that i think the McCann's were neglecting the children by leaving them alone at nights, and will always believe the same, but what annoys me is that someone will come along and hurl insults at me, question the state of my mental health etc, and be down right rude just because my opinion differs from theirs.

I don't question people on their mind state, after all thats not my concern, so why can't we all say what we believe without ending up slagging each other off? After all the folk who lower themselves to hurl insults left, right and centre aren't helping to find what happened to Madeleine are they?

Yes of course! We are all individuals with different ideas and opinions to which we are all entitled to, no matter how outrageous they may seem to others.

Took note of Murcia's statement. I wasn't aware of that. But deep down, and no matter who we are, why we are known as pro/anti Mc Canns or sitting on the fence ... We all have one true thing in common! Our wish to see Madeleine found because she has become so much part of our lives too. We want her found and whoever is responsible for this wicked deed, take her away and possibly worse, found, tried and sentenced for a very long time.

I agree with you but also anyone posting/answering shouldn't do so in the aggresive, arrogant, ignorant manner that some have been doing. That's where the problem lies you can voice your opinion without being like that.

By basing opinion on fact and not assumption. And by respecting that people are entitled to an opinion based on fact and not assumption. We may not all agree but we have to respect the way people look at things and how they percieve them. When you begin name calling people will assume lack of intelligence and an inability to argue with reason. I could be wrong but this is my opinion on your question, whether others choose to agree or acknowledge this aspect its up to them but it doesnt mean I deserve insults and abuse.

yes I agree. I love to have a rant and I enjoy giving my opinions on current events. I really don't like to see postings about a particular member of YA - I see this as bullying.

Well if Clarence Mitchell said it it MUST be right. Funny, didn't think we needed a PR guru to tell us what's ok and what isn't . Or maybe we do?

But isn't 'slagging' expressing an opinion about you, even though I've never met you or know what you are like? So why is anyone offended by free speech?

I SO agree.

I am not 100% convinced either way and sometimes I think it could be and sometimes I think its unlikely.

Truth is we will find out only when they find Maddy.
