Both my cat and my dog died this year, and i am moving house next week. I know that they are spiritualy bound to the house because people who didn't know my pets have seen them appear and disappear at random....
I dont want them to be stuck in a house where i am not, how to i get them to leave and follow me or pass on?

It is just that you missed your dog and cat far too much. This shows how caring you were and the sincerity in you taking care for them when you bought them. Rest assured, they mean no harm.
You can try telling the new people about what you see. However, I dont think that they will mind because you are an honest person.
Even though you are moving house, maybe it's just because your dog and cat know you loved them alot, so they therefore went back to you. Even though you are moving house, your heart will always be with them. Their hearts will always be with you.

I'm a fan of the easy approach. Just talk to them and let them know what is going on. Let them know you are moving and that they will always have a place in your new home. The sage and salt would be great if you were trying to cleanse an unwanted/unknown energy, but in this case you're dealing with friends. Sage purifies and salt is spiritual lysol that eats up nasties. There's no need for a big fancy ritual in this case, unless it would make you feel better. In that case I'm sure one of us could write something for you.

Never fear - they will follow or move on. Halloween is the time of year, according to some cultures, when the recently deceased bid a fond farewell to their loved ones and cross over to the other side. If you want to help them, burn a little sage or incense and a candle on Halloween night. Some times an animal will choose to stay on this side and help protect their human.

There probaly bound to you not the house.....
My friend has her cats follow her.... and I know they will follow people becose after i petted and was nice to one of her ghost kitties it followed me home for a few days before going back to her o.o
and i didn't really know it was dead when i was petting it....
I just felt a kitty jump on the bed and i reached down to pet it.... it wasn't till I looked down and couldn't see anything there but could still feel it that i know it was a ghost.. O.O
but yah after that it followed me home
and ether my cat chased it off or it just curious becose it whent right back home after that

They will go with you if they want to. You can salt the corners, burn sage, send them to the light, etc., but they will do just exactly what they want to do. Make sure you have released them--said it's OK to cross over. Perhaps they will later reincarnate and you will recognize them in future pets. I had 2 dogs that did this.

Where ever we physically move to in life our spiritual pets will follow, my sister moved out of the house I still live in, years ago, a few years after my dog died she saw him in her kitchen where she moved to a couple of towns over, they know where to find us, don't despair.

What people are seeing is residual energy left from the animals. Their spirits have already moved on, as that is an automatic process.

when u leave your house your pets would get the hint and either follow u or pass over.

If they like it there, why not let them stay? I know you hate to part with them, but it is their choice. Maybe they don't want to move. Tell them goodbuy and let go. You are holding on to them and you need to let them go.
