unless it is an "electronic" key, pretty much any hardware store can cut you one in minutes..at least in the US

Unfortunately the above answers are correct. You will get charged £120 + VAT for the privilege. We had a new one cut for our Galaxy in Switzerland at a Ford dealer there. Cost £50. After a bit of fiddling around (you need to read the manual for how to do it) with the small plastic key you should still have, we were able to code it in the ignition and it works perfectly.

If your in the UK go to a lock smith, they can cut and program keys with chips in. its cheaper than a stealer!!
