An absolute 80s classic, it's just finished a repeat run. I could never figure out why they all thought the monk was a male !

I used to love Monkey, I read recently that it was based on the creation of Buddhism, this passed me by completely when I was a kid.
I've watched a few of them on youtube and I still think it's great am peeved to hear it has been on C4 and I knew nothing about it.

I loved watching it growing up would like it to be brough back on tv so my daughter can watch it.
Other programmes they should bring back on british tv are
Kung Fu (Carradine)
21 Jump Street (Depp)

I loved it when I was a nipper but when C4 repeated it a year or two ago I thought it was rubbish.
