It was on XM on one of the rock stations and it was a girl lead singer.

definitely NOT the white stripes. I wanna say it's like White tendencies, but I did a search and nothing came up. It's something like that, and I'm pretty sure it starts with a T.

The White Stripes.... possibly. Sometimes Meg sings song, but it's mostly Jack on lead vocals.
