haha of course it gives you wiiings!!

it may give you an irregular heartbeat because you may be sensitive to caffeine. but then that would mean anything with a bit of caffeine in it would give you an irregular heartbeat. (like 2 rectangles on a hershey's bar because that's how much caffeine is in a red bull) but seriously if it really does, i would contact your doctor just in case.

nobody has actually died from drinking red bull. and if you hear rumors about it, it's probably because they were doing something else with it besides using one can (that's all that's needed) for energy...; have you heard about the kid at the rave at the underground club...blahblahblah...repeat that to yourself and then ask the question again of why the kid went into a coma and is now in the hospital...i can tell ya right now, it's not because of the red bull.... . ...or have you heard about the basketball player who drank four red bulls before his game and passed out and was in the hospital for dehydration...blahblahblah...again repeat that to yourself. you only need one can of red bull (that's why it's the size it is; after 3 years of testing before it came out) red bull does (to a point) dehydrate you. the b-vitamins in it are water-soluble (meaning they need water to break down) and if you just had 4 red bulls and are engaging in strenuous physical activity, then you are going to need alot more than you think you need of water/gatorade to rehydrate. and that's another reason why people get headaches; they need to rehydrate themselves (not because red bull is giving you a headache)

ingredients: it contains (per 250 ml) about
*27 g of sugar (glucose, sucrose) - they are simple sugars found in things like orange juice...and they are not the kinds of sugars like high fructose corn syrup found in sodas.
*1000 mg of taurine - a natural occuring amino acid in your body that helps you through strenuous physical or mental activity.
*600 mg of glucuronolactone - a carbohydrate that aids in removing metabolic wastes.
*B-complex vitamins - about 6 of them, and this is where most of the energy you get from red bull come from.
*80 mg of caffeine - equal to a 6oz cup of filtered coffee (that's right i said 6oz), used to stimulate your metabolism so you get your energy quicker.

Yeah, I found out it doesn't give you wings when I jumped off of that mountain the other day. LOL.

Seriously, I have heard of it causing irregular heartbeats before if you consume too much of it. Did you drink a lot of them? I just looked up the ingredients and it mostly has taurine, caffeine, and different B vitamins in it. The only thing I can see that would increase a person's heart rate would be the caffeine but they say on their site it's just the same amount of caffeine that one would get in a cup of coffee.

The only thing that Red Bull ever gave me was a raging migraine. And it tastes like crap, by the way. I really don't see the attraction.

The british medical journal says the health concerns related to cancer are merely urban legends... i don't know, red bull makes me nervous, i shake a lot and get hysterical...i can't stand the caffeine.

The stuff is lush with Vodka but i'm immune to it actually giving me a pick-me-up beofre training. No point anyway as i believe Taurine (one of its ingredients) is actually banned in a lot of sports including ice hockey..

C'est la vie..

You know energy drinks do nothing to me! I don't know why!
(Maybe they say that "it gives you wings" because if you drink it it gives you so much energy that if you start running you may think you are flying or somethin' cos you will be running really fast...)

I know it can do that to you, its loaded with caffine and sends you hyper, I tasted it once and thought it was vile, be careful none of us want our wings too early do we.
