I know what you mean. The next stage of evolution will be a mind evolution where, humanity's struggle will be less with building and more with communicating.

There may appear to be wars and conflicts but these are small in the grand scheme. The bigger picture will be how does humanity move forward and upward without allowing governments to create a veil of lies to keep it's people placated. This will be one struggle - to avoid pacification within the individual and to keep the fire within that creates social change. It is very easy to become "lazy" in front of the playstation, the shopping centre, the television, piped in music through the computer, etc. therefore, people won't notice that their rights are being chipped away and bogus "laws" created. This is one struggle.

Because of technology and industrialisation in most places on earth, people will evolve to use different aspects of the mind and we will see a definite difference in a person from the city where "thinking" isn't as needed as a person found in say, the Amazon Rain Forest.
We will begin to learn more about the Earth and to learn from those who aren't industrialised. What will appear to be going backwards, ie; using ancient natural medicines and simple machines, will in fact, be moving forward.

As more and more people connect with the power within themselves, we will see less of an outward manifestation of "God", ie; taking responsibility instead of blaming a faceless, nameless god, and we will begin to accept ourselves as biology beings as human created rules begin to wither away to be replaced with a better understanding of nature, mathematics and physics. This ties in with the realisation that maybe life will be more "comfortable" but people will still need to be aware of who is "in charge" and government in most countries.

Lots of enthusiastic humans are providing you with all sorts of hypothetical answers....

But it is difficult to know.
The evolution of life depends upon the environment in which it finds itself, both the geological, the botanical and the zoological. The interplay between them is crucial in determining what features would be advantageous and what would be detrimental.

Humanity attempts to control its environment. It reshapes the environment and in so doing reshapes itself. While people suppose that evolution will "improve" them... it is more likely to be what their subconscious considers improvement than their conscious mind. It will be whatever makes them mate more and produce more offspring in the long term.
Consider this much:

Over the past few thousand years... human female breast size on average has increased, despite it serving little practical purpose and often becoming a detriment for the female in question.... ONLY because the males find it more attractive, and thus will select for females with the larger breasts and breed with them.
People have become "prettier" in their own opinions, so to speak. Most body hair has reduced while head-hair has become more elaborate. Body shape has gradually been refined based on what humans find attractive in potential mates. One must also account for the time-scales involved though, as in the past few centuries people viewed fatness as more healthy as it was indicative of a person not starving... and as such there are many such fat humans around today.
Most dangerous of all though... humans are becoming ever more socially dependant and individually less capable. Societies are expanding to account for this.

My personal theory is that humans will become like termites: Many in number, living in huge hives, all working to serve the hive.... Whether there will be huge, bloated females serving as breeders I cannot tell, as social sway seems to be pushing back the other way toward the stick insect extreme at the moment... but there likely will be some sort of a queen in charge... and breeding will become ever more restricted until castes are separated into the "beautiful breeders" and "ugly workers".... with perhaps "muscular soldiers" on the side.

Hmmm...

Sorry, but all this talk of termites is making me hungry. I'll just nip off to forage a bit now.

Evolution becomes a matter of choice. Now that the genome has been mapped it's only a matter of time before it's rewritten to improve health and suit the preferences of persons. First this will be only in individuals, but once they begin tampering with the genetics of sperm and egg, these alterations will be passed on indefinitely to future humans. Over thousands of generations, this means longer life, better health, and perhaps eternal youth.
Personally, I think we are all turning into Hobbits. But that's just me.

The next stage of evolution will mean no longer being the same species. It is highly likely after so many thousands of years (more properly millions) we will change, evolution doesn't have pinnacles.

i think for between the main element, as a species, homo-sapiens are de-evolving. someplace alongside the line, persons desperate they weren't element of nature and commenced to seperate themselves from it. We make a determination we don't opt to do something once you talk that it particularly is too much paintings, so we build a workstation to do it. We desperate we don't opt to make certain something out once you talk that it ought to tension our wiped out minds to lots, so we seek for advice our laptop, smart all-be attentive to-how workstation that it particularly is. no person it seems has goals that weren't presented to them anymore. there's a straightforward loss of dreaming previous the present state of the sector that keeps human beings, myself integrated, glued to their laptop visual reveal unit instruments surfing for some smart certainty which could or won't exist, and you maximum probable will probable no longer discover it at paintings, notwithstanding you may have won to paintings to stay. i think as quickly because of the fact the human race sees by utilising way of that lie and realizes that dependency on a attitude is mass suicide sturdy start to adapt as quickly as greater. it particularly is diffucult to regulate with, notwithstanding many ailments similar to down-syndrome, character problems and so on might very sturdy be right here stages in evolution that society has desperate are no longer organic and swept under a medicinal rug. basically a theory.

I think we will explore and rediscover our ancient inner soul and begin to use former powers, that at this point, we have blocked through evolution and trauma.I think science ,metaphysics, and quantum physics will merge and make major discoveries about life.

The next step is secularism, and then eugenics. Like you said - if we live that long. Then we harness the solar system.

It's just a suggestion, not a prediction.

My prediction? Pain.
