to start taking it. If I just start taking it now at mid-cycle(in the right section of couse) and use condoms til its safe to stop, wil this be O.K? Does anyone know? tnx.

I actually had to start the pill mid-cycle to make sure I was covered when I got married. You should be fine coverage-wise, but be aware that you may still spot during the time that your period would have come had you not started the pill. For me this meant that I spotted for a week, and then had my actual period the following week. It's annoying, but other than the inconvenience of bleeding for longer, it's really no big deal.

If you take it mid-cycle instead of waiting til after your period it will mess up your cycle further by causing your period to come even later. The reason they want the woman to wait til after her period is to give the body plenty of time to adjust to the medication so that the periods aren't delayed further.
I would recommend checking with your doctor as well to see what they say.
