Take heed to what I say.

A patriot loves his country but loves its people more. A patriot believes in his country and his government but will stand up against injustice against its people. A patriot thinks not of himself but of his people and is willing to put him or herself on the line for those ideals and to better society. Think of our forefathers, think of those who history has recorded to have put their lives on the line so that we might have the country we do today! from 1773-2007 we have many heroes to look too but who among us will follow?!?

Someone who is proud of his country and defends its set of values. No country is perfect, but some are better than others; depending one's tastes, views and ambition, of course.

Patriotism must relate to selfish interest at some point. When not, we are dealing either with "true believers" or opportunists.

A patriot is someone that believes strongly in his principles, culture, and most of all country. Supporting our troop makes you a patriot, waving a flag, and wearing something that represents a flag, except undergarments.

Someone who takes great pride in their country and all of its traditions. They will fight for and protect their country at any costs. They can also be real arrogant because of this because they are so naive and in denial to how their country is falling apart.
