I am scared to ask questions sometimes because I am afraid of getting a violation notice. I am so afraid of offending someone on here. I was just curious if anyone else is like that. This is a Question and Answer site and one shouldn't be afraid of asking and answering questions. Do you agree?

I agree .
I also have to think twice sometimes when asking a question,,or giving an answer.All I can do is be honest and hope that my answer,or opinion does not offend.
I take no offense to people who don't agree with me.

Don't be scared just try to ask in a safe manner & not as chat as some mean thing reports chat & have it as a question as well
but yeah its a horrible feeling when you first see that VIOLATION NOTICE i can relate to that i got 6 in one day for little chat type questions :)

Well, if I could ask anything I wanted I'd have asked some pretty controversial things I'm sure so yes, the idea of possibly having my account suspended has prevented me from totally going all out and asking something that might be perceived as really rude on occasion.

Absolutely. I think the restrictions are too severe. I mean I wrote that I wanted to have a ciggie but typed in F.A.G. as we use in Ireland all the time and they blanked out the word. Now my message looks more obscene than ever!

No,no way!Yahoo doesn't intimidate me at all..IN fact I have tried hard to get a violation or two,but of course yahoo won't unless its a legit Question or answer,as they are "azz backwards" ya know..
Just ask what you want,how ya want,& when ya want ,if it wasn't for us yahoo wouldn't exist!=)

yes i agree any question we can ask and answer its our wish and the main thing in this question and answers is we can know the things which we dont know and also we can also make friend ship with those persons whom we dont know and also we can share our feeligs by asking questions and answers and carry on my dear there is no one is there to stop us asking questions

i agree.
what they should do is just warn you if A person is offended but violate you if a few people register their offence at your question.
and yes i know that sounds a bit crude
