How many times have we hired a handy repairman and got an unwanted glimpse of "plumber's crack"? Exposure happens. All jeans are not accommodating to all posteriors so that's how thongs make their appearances in public. As far as pants scraping concrete and boxers exposed for days...it's no different than all of the examples I mentioned above. A ban is harsh. That's whittling away at the basic human right to dress yourself as you please. You're not nude, you have clothes on. However, just as an upscale "tie event" or club will specify how to be attired, there is a time and place for everything. I don't think it's practical to show up for work in gear that can betray you and slip away or..down. Save that for the days when it's "me time". A ban is ludicrous!
