the FBI have placed this man on something ( forget the exact word) RED LISTING

Southern Cross Railway station isn't in a Tunnel, but it could have been one of the most dangerous places to leave a child .. she could have fallen onto the tracks OR been abducted AND NOBODY WOULD HAVE KNOWN ... :(

i sincerely doubt that this man gave his daughter's welfare any concern ...had he been concerned he could have pretended that he had found her and taken her to a safe place.. even at the station ... say at a ticket booth or a ticket inspector

the sooner this man is caught , the better,

I'm not entirely sure what you are referencing yet, it hasn't come out in the news in America yet (where I live).

But based on the details of your question, it appears that some guy left his daughter to fend for herself while he went on the lam, and that this occurred in Australia.

On the surface, this sounds bad. But Australia is one of those countries that are known as protective of civil rights. This father may have assumed his daughter would be taken care of by somebody in that particular country. He knew someone would step up to make sure she was fed and clothed and housed very soon after.

I agree with you, the daughter didn't deserve to be abandoned. But if he felt he could no longer care for the daughter properly (and his having to be in hiding would suggest that he could not), there are few countries better than Australia to abandon one's child. He may have felt he was doing better for her in abandoning her in Australia then he could have done by keeping her with him.

Yes, its completely beyond me.
He could have left her at a relatives' home where she at least would not have been in physical danger.
Am really worried about her mother too...They can't trace her.

Edit: Gosh Molly, didn't know that he killed her Mum...

People that do things like that to their own flesh and blood should have their heads read!!! And how would they feel if something really bad had to happen to them!! Child services should step in and teach him a lesson i say!!!!!!!!!

It's astonishing.

It's starting to look like the father killed the mother before abondoning the child http://ap.google.com/article/ALeqM5gNmg4kKU9IAPQtKPBx2m4XOUB6Mw

He killed her mother so I don't think he would be to worried about abandoning his daughter probably luckily for her he did.I hope they catch the scum bag soon.
