I'm divorced, and it's pretty much what Peggy said, except that it's a pile of papers about this and that down to the tiniest detail - can you say UGH? Sometimes it's notarized, sometimes it's not - the one YOU get is highly likely not to be and the one the court files themselves is.

It looks like any other legal document. Plain typeface on white paper, 14" size. Keep it in a safe place in case you need to refer to it. You generally get them in the mail.

It is a judgment of divorce with an official stamp on it.

it has the words A Delusion Of Marriage on them and it is stamped with a seal.

if accepted, it appears like a wedding card, for re-marriage ....

if rejected, it looks like " a death certificate " ...
