The saying is that "from the mouths of babes and drunk men comes the truth"! I know that I'm painfully honest when I've had a few, although I'm not for one minute saying that everyone is the same. I have also been known to talk a load of old tosh to anyone that will listen!

Certain people not all hjave a tendency to become more relaxed after a few drinks and talk more about certain aspects of their life. Once the limit of alcohol exceeds the limit their body can wash out they become jabber jaws and have no sense in what they say. Once their endorphin level reahes its peak...they turn around backl to where they started about certain apsects of their life and challenge the opposite sex to the match if they core or not.
Alcohol and human brain are wild things to look into.

oh if life were that simple.

I would think of it as another way to gain an insight into what somebody is thinking. Its A good way of finding out what happening especially at work, after a few drinks people are more lightly to let their guard down.

But if somebody tells you they love you out of the blue it might not be a 100% reliable guide.

Lots of times, it is. Some just get silly and are looking for a laugh. But, sometimes, they are less inhibited and find courage in the bottle to say what was bottled up inside.

Not all the time.
I tend to be ruthlessly honest when I've had too much to drink.
Alcohol sometimes gives people the confidence to tell the truth when they would have otherwise been afraid of the result. x

No because when someones drunk they tend to say things they wouldn't if they were sober! So whatever they said is probably true good luck!

Alcohol tends to magnify things. Happy people are extremely happy drunks, depressed people shouldn't drink (for obvious reasons). People who lie tend to spin real BS, when they are drunk. Those who are honest, tend to be openly honest, as drunks.
