Little Black Sambo. I loved that story when I was a child. I remember I had one of those Little Golden Books. Imagine what that book would be worth today? :)

I had a 1st print Shel Silverstien book, Where teh sidewalk ends.....
over the years they have changed some of the words in his poems to be politically correct.
an example is the poem about the gympsies taking away children.. now its the Goonies.

I heard that The Chocolate War was banned from school libraries in some counties.... which surprises me because that was part of the curriculum when I was in high school.
