Living in a democratic society we would like to believe it does. However there have been many miscarriages of justice all the same ... In Britain there is an appeals court and the power of the media! So i'd say as a society we're better off than many other nations are if!! There is always an incident waiting to happen somewhere and in such case ... Justice will not prevail, or maybe not for a long time.

I would say justice does always prevail..with time...and injustice, with time, always resolves itself. But justice doesn't always prevail at any moment.
There is a natural equilibirum set by what people beleive is the 'right thing'...if there is a perceived injustice that is intense enough...a large amount of people will have the same feeling and react to this perceived injustice. The fighting all over the world, Iraq, etc...mostly happens due to a perceived injustice and a reaction.
When there is injustice, people at the moment, may react in different ways....but over time, injustice tends to resolve itself similar to liquid and osmosis...when there is too much pressure, it flows to sooth the instability. Similarly, humans resolve, through pride pangs of childish behaviours, outrage, etc...their perceived injustices.
So in time...justice ...or an equilibrium, always prevails. But justice doesn't always prevail every single moment, only as you look at the graph with time on the x axis for example, do you see it reach equilibrium or justice.

Of course not. That is something which is in movies, not real life. Have they found the murderer of the Coventry women in Japan? Was Bin Laden captured and tried for his active role in terrorism? I could continue for months typing all the unsolved crimes and mistakes in the Justice system if I did a little research on the Internet. Most criminals aren't caught for their first crime and people like Fred West manage to commit severe crimes before getting caught. Also with the amount of missing people that are reported there are probably a lot more cases of murder then are reported. The only reason that they don't get reported as murder is because the bodies are never found. The governments like to report the positive aspects of policing rather than the negative but I think you will find that there are a lot more crimes which go unsolved or unpunished than you think.

Historically, only for the people who own it or who can afford to pay for it.
The occasional 'victory' for the little guy usually only arrives after a lengthy and personally destructive legal process or worse following appeals after years of wrongfull incarceration.
In such cases the victim may be compensated, but wouldn't you rather have not been forced through it, than eventually paid off for the time you lost?

R u talking about legal or natural. Legal it depends on how much money u have paid to get the best lawyers for your defence.
Natural, well sometimes things happen in life to balance. In other words, people sometimes get their just desserts.

No unfortunately.
Did you not know that is why the statue of Justice is blindfolded so that she doesn't see all the injustices carried out in her name.

I'm not entirely positive it does, although I believe in Karma, so maybe it does and is just not always conventional or evident to onlookers.
