Believe it or not, you need a liver cleanse first. If you have a fatty liver, your cholesterol will be high. It does not matter if your are not over weight. My husband had the same problem, 279 cholesterol, and now with the cleanse and the vitamin that i gave him, he is back to normal. Its worth a try.

We did this cleansing few times. In addition to that, continue with fiber, garlic, Omega3-6-9, And CoenzimeQ10 100mg, will strengthen the heart muscle, and get rid of irregular beating.

3 years ago, I was diagnosed - hypertension with a reading of 160/100. I used to feel dizzy a lot, my legs had awful cramps, and levels were very low in my potassium, causing my fingers and toes to always cramp together. One day I started to feel really faint while I was driving with my daughter in the back seat and I passed out, hitting 3 cars and ending up in a ditch. That moment,I knew I had to do something because my meds weren't working. I heard about this diet from a friend and thought I'd give it a shot. The results have been remarkable. In just 21 days, I honestly can't remember feeling this good, my blood pressure went from 175/110 to 125/70.

Start taking a high quality fish oil. Long term studies have shown that taking fish oil will decrease high cholesterol and improve overall heart health. Improving your diet and exercise will help with both the cholesterol & high BP. The high BP is also a timing problem. Having a higher BP is normal after doing physical activity so when your BP is high at rest your body timing is off. To get your body back into the proper timing see a B.E.S.T. practitioner. Go to www.morter.com to find a practitioner in your area.

Sharply reduce your consumption of animal products--eat lots of fruits, veggies, whole grains, beans, and nuts. Well, not too many nuts, as they are high in fat. Try to reduce the salt in your diet, as that can increase blood pressure (and your diastole, the lower number, is high--normal is below 120/80). Talk with your doctor to find out what exercise you can do to work around your injury. Even if it's just walking, it's better than nothing.
You can also have high cholesterol if it runs in the family.

Garlic, fish oil and hawthorn will help to reduce both your cholesterol as well as your blood pressure.
Probably the best garlic to get is the high strength 3,000 mg capsules. Take 2 capsules 2 or 3 times a day.
Garlic is also an antibacterial agent and an antimicrobial agent and is also very good for people with sinus problems.
Improving your diet would also help.

There are few things you can try.
1) Make yourself a celery + young bittercord juice every morning.
2) Boil pandan leaves and drink it like tea everyday
3) Eat more starfruits
4) Garlic helps too
5) Stay away from red meat, seafood and salty food
6) If you not drinking pandan tea, drink more water.
I'm a HBP patient too but I'm on pills and sometimes I take some of these remedies. Garlic more often.

Basic things food wise would be to eat things high in fiber... low in salt and obviously low in fat. Nothing fried... cutting back or eliminating butter/margerine... whole & lowfat milk... switch to low fat or no fat cheese... etc. You can easily do a search for "high fiber foods" or for fruits and veggies and find out which ones are the best.
For the high blood pressure... bananas are an excellent way to help reduce blood pressure with immediate results. Try and eat a couple a day and they will really help bring it down.
Good luck!! :)

156 is high for diastolic, but your systolic isnt too bad. Mine was 180 over 120 at one time. I started walking everyday and eating better and my BP went to 127 over 69. Try to drink more water and eat less salt. Dont drink too much alcohol, exercise and your BP should drop. If not get on Blood pressure pills!!

Eat vegetables and more vegetables preferably raw. Add more fiber to your diet if you don't eat a lot of vegetables. Fiber takes the bile out of your system. Bile that isn't taken out of your system turns to cholestrol. Chicken although healthy is high in cholesterol.
