If you had the budget and the time, which one country would you go to next - - - one where you have never been to before? Why?

Maybe France, but more likely Japan.
I'd like to visit the countries that my favorite books are set in, just to see what they are like. But to my understanding Sicily (The Godfather) is still too dangerous for foreigners. But I would like to see Marseilles, France (The Count of Monte Cristo) to see what became of the city Alexandre Dumas envisioned as the home of his main character, Edmond Dantes.
But I would probably be more interested to see Kyoto, Japan (Memoirs of a Geisha--the book was better than the movie, so don't judge me for liking the book when the movie was so worthless). I would very much like to see a geisha and see what they are like.

I'd go for the Philippines, since my family and friends are there, I'd take them for a vacation where we have never been yet in the country... such as Batanes, Bohol, Cebu, Davao, Palawan, and Siargao...
and oh, after that or before that happens, I'll go with Jan-na first to Greece, together with nena... I'm sure we'll have a great time there...

If I had the means (budget and time) I would go after that SOB Bin Laden because the US government is not doing anything about him. That SOB is a killer that needs to be brought to justice. Only after that we can travel and enjoy other places knowing that our loved ones will be safe. And please don't tell me that the USA, the most powerful nation on earth, is unable to catch a dog.

Bopols, you really did it to me by limiting it to countries that I haven't been to... Guess I'd have to say Malaysia - because I haven't been there yet.
I like Anthony V's answer because I was born in the Czech republic and it's beautiful.
And next place I go will be Taiwan in December and Czech in Springtime.

Greece - I would learn the greek language before I visited, could enjoy the beaches and landscape, and visit all the acient mythological sites because I love Greek & Roman mythology.

I would love to go to Sri Lanka. I would be fascinated lookingat their cultural heritage. I have dreams of getting married there, on the beach and wearing a sari. Most of all I would love to be close up to and stroke the baby elephants at the elephant orphanage

it has been my ultimate dream to visit ancient Greece. I am planning a cross-country backpacking trip with my hubby on Turkey-Greece-Egypt-Jordan by next year (God-willing and fingers-crossed)
