Sorry Hun we need a little more info....Color? Ummm it should be able to pull its head into it's shell....

Red Ear Sliders have an orange or red spot on their head normally.

Maps have a design like no other!!
Do you have a pic???

EDIT*
I can't view the pic....

Here is a site with different pictures of different species

You are going to have to save the pics to your PC and enlarge them that way.

RESs are over-bred. If you are capable of keeping them on good condition, you might want to try breeding some of the less common turtles to take the pressure off the wild populations.

OK, it sounds like you have a kind of 'sideneck' turtle- mostly from South America, Africa, Asia, and Australia. Try the exotic turtles gallery in the World of Turtles gallery at http://www.austinsturtlepage.com

You can also find good caresheets and diets there as well.

You can also try posting a picture of it (try a top view, bottom view, and face close-up) in a photo-sharing site like http://www.photobucket.com and link to it here so we can see it.

Good luck!

Edit: You created a MySpace site for it- but no one else can see it unless they sign in to MySpace- not really helpful for some of us. Try an 'open' format that anyone can see... like photobucket.

Hi there, I am a turtle owner, it sounds like a water turtle.
How do you know that it eats blood worms?
When you bought it was it in water?
Feel free to email me and I can hopefully answer your questions :)
