Being black and knowing the US justice system I didn't really care if OJ killed his ex and her friend back in the day. Then I thought for years maybe he did do it. The other day when I was watching the new circus act starring #32 I thought to myself what if OJ is and always has been truly innocent of killing Nicole and Ron? Don't misunderstand what I'm saying, I don't know if he is guilty or innocent. It just dawned on me that if this man is innocent we truly ruined his life and ran him crazy. I know most of you want open your mind and think about it hypatheticallly. But it does merrit some thought.

My point is we black people wanted to stick it to the system and most white people wanted him guilty because he was rich and black. My question is did we all use OJ, Nicole and Ron for our own agenda's and what if this man was truly innocent all along? That would be soo sad to me.

Patty wrote, "But if he showed no mercy, maybe it is our job to show respect and compassion for their lost lives. And let´s make OJ accountable for his actions, as we would any other man." Yes Patty, let's make OJ accountable for his actions of today (if he is quilty of anything), but unfortunately we can not use today's actions to pay for yesterdays crimes!!!! It's so funny to me how white people honestly think America doesn't make a difference between races. They talk so much about justice and freedom, but it is not afforded to everyone. Example..... JENA 6!!!!! The white kids got off with a slap on the wrist for executing a hate crime, but the black kids have had horrible charges pressed against them and 1 has even been in an adult jail system for over a year!!! Have any of you people even seen OJ???? The same limpish walk he has today is the same one he had 12 years ago when he was being tried for those murders. That man has clearly had some type of knee replacement surgery but they said he was jumping fences to get to those people so he could kill him.

The justice system is clearly not backed by the Bible and I have come to the conclusion that the only way you can get a fair trial is if you have a half dozen high priced attorneys pointing out technicalities because if you are a black person (especially a black man) you are PROBABLY not going to get a fair trial. Stop fooling yourselves by thinking America is gung ho on equality and justice, and rainbows and bunnies. That's about the same mentality as thinking there is still a santa clause. Get over that sh*t!!!!!

Let me see if I understand what you are saying. Because the justice system has been so unfair to blacks, when OJ was on trial you didn’t really care whether or not he had killed Nicole and Ron, and now you feel sorry for him because he might be innocent?
Are you kidding? If you followed the trial, you could plainly see that the man was guilty. All the evidence pointed to him. He won because; the prosecutors and police didn’t do a very good job, the judge bungled the case, and he had some of the best attorneys that money could buy. The fact that he had a good attorney who turned the whole trial into a racial issue to win the case does not mean that he innocent. For God’s sake he even wrote a book about it. He knows he can never be retried! Of course because he lost the civil case, the Goldman family will get the earnings from the book. This is justice. But, even Nicole’s family who supported him at the beginning soon realized he was guilty.
But my question to you is: After all these years, how can you feel sorry for him and not his victims? They died at his hands. Nicole and Ron’s lives were banished because of him. Don’t kid yourself. This is not a racial issue. This is a murderer who showed absolutely no mercy when he killed his wife and the young man, Ron. But if he showed no mercy, maybe it is our job to show respect and compassion for their lost lives. And let´s make OJ accountable for his actions, as we would any other man.

At first I thought OJ was so totally innocent. Then I kept watching the court hearing on TV. I know he had something to do with it. Shoot it doesn't matter what skin your in. Were all the same. We all put our shoes on the same way! In a Marriage if one or the other is messing around. Crap is going to fly. Especially if you have a lot of property that you think someone is gonna take from you. Also take your kids. Take everything from you. Some people flip out!!! It is a very hard thing to find out about. Dude all this about The Blacks and The Whites has nothing to do with OJ. Night or Day. Facts are facts in a Court of Law. This thing about Blacks and Whites always not getting along is such old school to me. Why is that older people continue to think this way. What about the 911? we all pulled together. If the Iraq's invaded us again. Where do we all stand. Are we not to help each other? What about Obama becoming President. I just wish Older people would act a little younger!!!

I understand where you're coming from - but I have doubts about his innocence and always have. First, crimes of passion are very messy because there is a lot rage, emotion -and the Nicole Brown-Simpson/Ron Goldman murders was a crime of passion to me, it was personal. And my thing is, if I had a wife that was murdered "in that way" - - I'm in mourning whether we're together or not, my children's mother is gone --but I wouldn't turn around and try to publish a book entitled "If I did it. " Secondly, I understood why blacks were happy when he was acquitted. It wasn't really OJ they were cheering for, it was the justice system failing whites for a change, and for all the crimes against blacks and the justice system that failed us such as: Emmett Till, Medgar Evers, the Alabama church bombing, the lynchings by the KKK - - But OJ had money to like other rich people (The Chappaquidick Cover-up) to buy justice. This latest stunt. . if someone had stolen his memorabilia, why didn't he go to the authorities, especially knowing everyone thinks he was "suspect" in his wife's murder. . one would think he'd want to avoid being in a situation that makes him look like he doesn't have "control". . again.

You are right in your mistrust of the system. The system had a "hard on" for OJ from the outset...but not just because he was black but because he was so abusive to the victim of that horrendous crime. He just appeared so likely the suspect and made the mistake of behaving like one. If he is innocent it should serve as a wake up call. The powers that be not only ruined his life..but the lives of his children at the worst possible time of their lives.

I understand what you're saying no one really knows what really happened people will have their opinions and most think he did it I don't think it matters if your black, white, yellow, etc.......I could care less on what happens to OJ Simpson in regards too the fact that Ron Goldman is out too get him and instead should morn the loss of his son and stop getting into others business. Too me this kidnapping, armed robbery just seems like some sort of scam that was too set up OJ.

well im white, i thought OJ was guilty of murder when i read how he beat up Nicole Simpson prior to the murder, she had 2 black eyes, it was in a police report, she also told everyone she knows he wanted to kill her. She called a battered womens center 5 days before she was killed. She also reported OJ was stalking her.. In my opinion for the beating he gave Nicole he should have served time alone.
He publicly humiliated her all the time in front of his friends and abused her. To my conclusion he was guilty. He was going to have her or kill her if he couldnt control her anymore, theres alot of men like him and some do wind up killing their girlfriend/wife, OJ just happens to be famous.
Him being black meant nothing to me.
And Ron Goldman happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time. Poor guy.

If you are right it would truly be sad but this is something we never will know. Only OJ knows the answer......... This is one of the most interesting questions I've seen on here in a long time.

good question - have a star.its very possible that he was made to be a scapegoat just because of his fame and status. that would have been enough to get up peoples noses and from that point it would have been difficult for many to see past it. I'm like you tho, don't know if he was guilty, don't care at this point either. what he has just done in Vegas might see him put away tho- silly man . . . .
