There are many people who do not feed guinea pig's pellets at all. A steady diet of unlimited amounts of timothy hay and at least one cup of vitamin C rich veggies per pound of body weight per day is pleanty of food for your pig. You can add 1/4 cup of pellets to that if you want to, but it's not necessary.

You can use the rabbit pellets for a little while as long as they are getting their full daily dose of vitamin C and unlimited amounts of timothy hay.

You will need to suppliment Vitamin C, also there are additives in Rabbit food that are not beneficial to Guinea Pigs.

They can survive on hay & fresh grass supplimented with vitamin c for indefinate time. They also love leaves & trunk from Bannana Trees, bamboo.

Yes, you can safely feed them rabbit food. They might also like some salad vegetables and firm fruits, as well.
