I heard a clip where he was directing the cops or security gaurds to use an electrical device to restrain him and then said "i didnt say tase him!"

Kerry showed his leadership skills when he didn't stand up for this guy. By keeping his mouth shut and not saying anything, he didn't practically tell the cops to taser the guy, but he allowed it to happen.

As a non-American I am disturbed that the country of "right to free speech" used something as potentially dangerous as a taser (they can kill or severely disable if used wrongly) to deal with a troublemaker who was non-violent but mouthy. Where does this end - pepper sprays for playground supervisors.

The man was wrong not to shut up and give the mike back but this was OTT surely? Shades of Blair authorising his conference bouncers to manhandle the Jewish delegate who had difficult questions he refused to answers. Politicians put themselves up as representatives - they cannot then refuse to listen!!

No. Kerry didn't know the Guards had tasers until they used them... He was as surprised as everyone else...
